Team Manager Position

Job Summary:

Managers ensure that their assigned care team members adhere to quality and service standards helping to support business growth and accomplish its goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to Site Manager

  • Lead Manager over assigned care team members set by Site manager

  • Oversee daily operations

  • Handle employee relations 

  • Care provider for VIP and emergency leave Clients with Site managers guidance

  • Conduct initial Client meet and greets with Site Managers guidance

  • Evaluate 1-time backyard or litter box clean out requests by clients and provide estimate to client as needed

  • Coordinate employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage

  • Enforce all workplace policies and procedures

  • Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner

  • Track and monitors care teams progress, adhering to prearranged standards

  • Ensure compliance across the installation

  • Prepare and submits progress reports and employee evaluations as directed by Site manager

  • Supervising and overseeing the direction of care teams, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met promoting client satisfaction

  • Contacting Site manager when pet emergencies, emergency work orders, or property damage problems arise.

  • Finding ways to prevent problems and solving problems as they arise reporting them to Site managers

 

Manager Job Requirements, Qualifications and Skills

  • Good knowledge of United Paw Force services, methods and SOP.

  • Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods of time to include dog walks 10 to 40 minutes in duration.

  • Ability to work irregular hours (4 rounds a day Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Nighttime let out)

  • Enjoy working with animals

  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs.

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

  • Some experience in pet care industry preferred

  • Availability during evenings, weekends (3 and 4 day) Holiday and Max leave/block leave

  • Friendly, trustworthy and reliable

Care Team Member Position

Job Summary:

A Care Team Member plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations by providing clients in-home pet care services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to Team Manager/leader

  • Providing UPF notification with availability in the UPF app under the availability tab and your desired amounts of clients for those days.

  • Notifying Team Manager/Leader with any schedule changes or need or round coverage in timely manner.

  • Address client’s questions, concerns and complaints directing them to team managers/leaders.

  • Notify Team Manager/Leader with all problems or complaints in a timely manner.

  • Providing assigned Pet Care Services to clients using care instructions provided by clients in UPF app.

  • Follow all safety, security procedures, rules and SOP guidelines

  • Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.

  • Arrive for your rounds on time and stay until round completion time is achieved.

  • Prioritize important tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.

  • Ensure client satisfaction

  • Attend in person or virtual job trainings or periodic evaluations as needed and at Team Managers/Leaders request.

  • Must have reliable transportation

 

Care Team Member skills/requirements

Employment Requirements

Experience:

  • 7-10 Years of experience caring for animals.

  • Experience years are considered to start from the age of 18 whereas a person is recognized as an adult by the State.

(An exception to policy can be made by Site managers based off personal experience on a case by case basis)

 

Driver’s License:

  • Driver’s license has to be valid at all times, meeting all state issuing requirements.

  • Driver’s license should always be with contractors at all times when operating a vehicle.

  • State issuing Driver’s license to Contractor is at the discretion and choice of the Contractor.

 

POV (Personally Owned Vehicle):

  • POV must meet instillation requirements when applicable.

  • Copy of an up to date insurance card is to be in your POV during anytime of operation.

  • Proof of valid insurance shall be presented upon request of any installation governing authority.

  • Copy of up to date vehicle registration shall be in Contractor’s POV during operation.

  • Proof of valid registration shall be presented upon request of any installation governing authority.

 

Bank Account:

  • A valid bank account with ability to have direct deposit for pay.

  • Contractor is responsible for maintaining their own accounts.

  • Contractor is responsible for all bank account fees associated with account.

  • Banking institution is at the choice of the Contractor.

 

Cell Phone:

  • Contractor’s cell phone shall have the ability to take pictures for journal updates.

  • Make and model of phone is at the choice of the Contractor.

  • Contractor is responsible for their own cellphone plan.

  • Contractor is responsible for maintaining a cell phone in working condition at all times.

  • Contractor is responsible for having and using the UPF app on cell phone for use during dog walking services.

 

Attire:

  • Pants or shorts that are knee length worn during working hours.

  • Clothing is at cost and to be purchased by Contractor.

  • Contractor is not required to purchase any clothing from United Paw Force.

  • Shirts or tops worn during working hours shall not be provocative, contain inappropriate language or graphics.

  • All clothing worn during working hours are to be in accordance with instillation policy.
